“For everyone at Havasu Christian Church you know this is a mission that’s near and dear to my heart. Right now we could really use washcloths, so if you see some on sale in bulk at the dollar store, please get some if you can! We can’t send soap anymore. Last year I wrapped a soap bar inside a washcloth and secured it with a hair tie to put as an item into the boxes, this year I’m doing a toothbrush, comb, and some little floss packs inside the washcloth instead! Please help if you can, the drop box is in the church’s foyer! ❤️🙏🏻”
Games are the item for the month, but we can still use hair ties to help make the bundles. We also need pencil sharpeners.
Fellowship Ministry Meeting will be September 1st, at Denny’s. The time will be 6:00 pm. If you have a knack for planning fun events that bring people together, this group is for you! Come and join us!
The Missions Ministry will meet in the Church library on September 11, at 11:15. If you are interested in knowing more about the Missions our church supports, please come!
Our Church family has temporarily lost a brother. Bill Rackley has died and is now with his Lord. His Memorial service will be at the Church on September 13th at 3 pm. Please keep Sally and the rest of the family in your prayers.
We’ll be hosting a Movie Night, September 20th at 7:00 pm in the Church Sanctuary! Bring a snack to share and join us for a fun time! The Movie title will be announced soon! SEE YOU AT THE MOVIES!!!

HUH? On Sunday, September 21, we’d like to invite you to “Fall into Orange” by wearing Orange to Church.
No special reason, it’s just going to be fun to see a “sea of orange” at Church! Don’t forget! You’ll feel left out!

On October 18th, we are going to take a trip in the Church van to go to the Clark County Museum in Henderson, Nevada. The museum offers a modern indoor exhibit hall detailing Nevada's history and a 30-acre outdoor area with a collection of historic buildings, a ghost town, and old trains. It’s a great Museum, and the cost is only $2 for adults and $1 for children (ages 3-15) and seniors. How could you ever find something entertaining to do for less??? We’ll also find a place to eat before we come home, so be prepared. We will plan to leave the Church at 8:00 am.
Consider this your invitation to join our men’s prayer group. We meet at the Church on Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. We would love to have more men join us!

Don’t pay some stranger to do it. Call on our “Helping Hands.” This Ministry seeks to be of aid to our folks at Church who just “need a little help” with this or that. Need a furnace filter changed? Call on the “Helping Hands.” Have some dead lightbulbs in your ceiling? Call on the “Helping Hands.” Need help in the yard? Call on the “Helping Hands.” Need an addition built onto your home? Call a licensed and bonded contractor! If you would like to ADD your hands to the “Helping Hands,” contact Daniel Witham for more information!
