We are coming to the end of the “gathering season” for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. There are a few items we could still use like combs, sewing needles, water bottles, kid scissors, cups, rulers (that fit in a shoebox), shoes/flip flops, crayons, and colored pencils. Our October item is a $10 bill for shipping. We’ll pack the boxes on November 8th at 12 pm. Come and join us! It will be lots of fun!

Our Tuesday night Bible study resumes at 7 pm on October 7th, in the home of Mark & Joy McKinnon. Check the bulletin for the address.
On October 18th, we are going to take a trip in the Church van to go to the Clark County Museum in Henderson, Nevada. The museum offers a modern indoor exhibit hall detailing Nevada's history and a 30-acre outdoor area with a collection of historic buildings, a ghost town, and old trains. It’s a great Museum, and the cost is only $2 for adults and $1 for children (ages 3-15) and seniors. How could you ever find something entertaining to do for less??? We’ll also find a place to eat before we come home, so be prepared. We will leave the Church at 8:00 am. Please put your name on the sign up sheet so we know how many people to plan for!
Church in the Park is coming up on November 2nd! Start making plans to be there! Invite a friend to join us! We will need help loading out on Saturday, setting up on Sunday, and tearing down afterwards. Please consider helping at least one of these times.
