The Small group that meets in the home of Verne & Kay Granere has been talking about making a purposeful effort to pray for our city. I think this would be a great idea for our entire Church! One of the ideas brought out was to pray when you are walking or driving around. When you are “out and about”, pray for the people in the houses you pass. Include in your prayers that they would have “soft hearts” to hear the Gospel. Pray that they would come and seek Jesus, particularly at our Church. Pray for opportunities to meet and reach them. If a house is for sale, pray that God would bring a Christian family to live there who will become a faithful part of our Church family!
Join us near the playground area at London Bridge Beach. This will give easy access to restrooms, and if you want to swim, the water. We’ll be there at 5 pm. On October 2nd! Bring the meat you want to have cooked on the grill, and a side dish or two to share! By the way, it’s “Brian & Friends” because he’s in charge.
If you enjoy “Metal bands” from the 90s and beyond, this is the concert for you! Seventh Day Slumber has been around since 1996. Some of the faces have changed, but it’s the same kind of music you listened to back then.
They are going to be LIVE in Kingman AZ on October 12! This is a FREE Concert!

It’s going to be a great chance to get together as ladies, at Valley Christian Church in Bullhead City. The date will be October 17th, and the conference begins at 9 am and goes until 3 pm. Let Robin know if you plan on going, so we can let the Church in Bullhead know how many to expect.
We are having a potluck on Sunday, October 25th, right after our morning Worship Service.
If your last name starts with A-M, please bring a main dish and a salad/side dish.
If your last name starts with N-Z, please bring a main dish and a dessert.
Also, we want to encourage you all to wear “fall colors” to Church that day!

You’ve never visited one of the “small groups” that are a part of the life of our Church! One group meets in the home of Verne and Kay Granere. (2643 Bamboo Drive) They meet at 4 pm for Bible Study and fellowship. The other group meets at 5 pm for Bible Study and a meal. This group meets in the home of John & Robin Walton. (598 Hornet Drive) These groups give you the opportunity to grow closer to Christian Brothers and Sisters, while studying together. Give one of these groups a try! You’ll be glad you did!

Don’t pay some stranger to do it. Call on our “Helping Hands.” This Ministry seeks to be of aid to our folks at Church who just “need a little help” with this or that. Need a furnace filter changed? Call on the “Helping Hands.” Have some dead lightbulbs in your ceiling? Call on the “Helping Hands.” Need help in the yard? Call on the “Helping Hands.” Need an addition built onto your home? Call a licensed and bonded contractor! If you would like to ADD your hands to the “Helping Hands,” contact Daniel Witham for more information!
