It began with “Church in the park” on Palm Sunday.  We had a good turnout, and some visitors stopped in who seemed very interested in the Church!  Set up and tear down went smoothly, and the food was delicious!  Our “Good Friday” service was beautiful and well attended! (Thank you to Bill and Sally Rackley for the wood for the bonfire!)  “Sonrise” service was also well attended and a joyous time!  The meal that followed was also very delicious!  Thank you to everyone who brought something to share!  Finally, our Sunday school and Morning Worship service were a wonderful time too!  What a great way to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Happy May!  The W.I.N.G.S. (Women In God’s Service) Group was busy in April sewing quilts for wheelchairs . We have 12 or 13 of them ready to be delivered in May.  Also, a big THANK YOU for the donations we received.  Donations will help us to provide smiles and comfort to others.

Until next month, Patty

We’re happy to be having visitors!

We have supported Concerned Christians, for several years now. Their slogan is “Bringing the Biblical Jesus to the Latter-day Saints.”  We are finally going to have the opportunity for representatives to come and give us a more complete picture of what they do in their Ministry!  They will be with us on Sunday, May 4th.  We’ll be giving them our Sunday School time to share, so even if you don’t regularly come to Sunday School, (9 am) this is the week to give it a try!  They will also be speaking during our regular Worship service (10:30 am).  Then we’ll follow that with a potluck dinner (Last names beginning with A-M please bring a main dish and a side, N-Z, please bring a main dish and dessert) so you can have the chance to sit down across the table and get to know them, and what they do, better!

It’s time to dust off your bowling ball!

We’re going bowling! Cosmic bowling!

May 16th, from 7-9 we’ll be “cosmic bowling.  It’s $20.00 per person, and you can bowl as many games as you want in that two hours.  Shoe rental is included!  Invite a friend!  We do need to make reservations, so please let Billy know how many you are bringing!

Going, going, gone.  The computers at the Church are about to expire!  They can’t be updated to Windows 11, and they need to be able to do so or they won’t be safe to use on the web.

Walter found a good deal ($205 each) and we have ordered replacements for the office computers.  Soon we’ll order one for the Sanctuary.  In the meantime, it would be nice to have money to pay for them.  If you want to help, please consider a designated offering, over and above your regular giving. THANKS!

Consider this your invitation to join our men’s prayer group. We meet at the Church on Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. We would love to have more men join us!
